Okay, okay, I know ... they are a little ugly. They are not traditional. They are made of plastic (it's actually called Croslite). The look of shoes that a former radical from the 60s who lives in a dome on a university campus would wear.
But they are very light in weight. They conform to your feet (and have internal protrusions that massage your feet while you walk, or so the company says). They have surprisingly good traction.
